Why Choose Our Seminole Heights Movers

Discover what sets us apart and why we’re the trusted choice for your moving needs.

Built for Seminole Heights' Historic Bungalows and Newer Infill

Seminole Heights was founded in 1911 as one of Tampa’s first streetcar suburbs, and its Craftsman-style bungalows from the 1920s and 1930s still define the neighborhood today, sitting alongside newer infill construction on the same blocks. Older bungalows often mean smaller closets, narrower hallways, and foundations that need a careful approach rather than a standard truck-and-dolly job. Our team plans crew size and truck placement around the actual home, the same way we do just south in Tampa Heights or north near Sulphur Springs.

Realistic Timing Around Brewery and Restaurant District Traffic

Seminole Heights’ restaurant and craft brewery scene along Florida Avenue and Nebraska Avenue draws real evening and weekend foot traffic, and I-275 running along the neighborhood’s eastern edge adds its own congestion patterns. We schedule loading and drive time around those actual conditions, the same way we plan around traffic heading toward Carrollwood or across town to Brandon.

Competitive and Upfront Pricing

Moving in or out of Seminole Heights doesn’t have to come with surprise costs once the truck shows up. We walk through your bungalow or newer home ahead of time, account for older construction, mature tree cover, and distance from parking to the door, and give you a written estimate that reflects the real job. Whether your move stays local or extends out toward Wesley Chapel, the number you agree to is the number you pay.

What's Full-Service Moving?

Arrow Down
A full-service mover offers packing, unpacking, disassembly, and reassembly of light furniture (such as beds).
Some smart pre-moving steps include:
  • Purge the items you don’t want to be moved
  • Donate food items – you don’t want to fill up space with food that might spoil
  • If you do your own packing, make sure it’s all completed before the movers arrive and ready to go from a central location
  • Make sure there is a clear path for movers to take items from your home to the truck
  • Have list of any items you need to be disassembled before transport

Do I Need to Pack Everything Myself?

Arrow Down

No. At Skyway Moving & Storage, we offer packing services if required.

I Have Expensive Artwork, Can Movers Handle That?

Arrow Down

That depends on the mover. At Skyway Moving & Storage, we have experience in moving fragile items, including artwork.

What Can I Do On Moving Day?

Arrow Down

Know that some items might not be best transported by movers. This includes pets and plants. Also, at the destination, have a good idea of where you want all the boxes and furniture placed before the movers arrive. This helps make the move more efficient and effective.

Should I Tip My Mover?

Arrow Down

Tipping your movers is not required, but it is always appreciated.
